LANA's Story...
This sweet poodle cross spent her early life living with her dogs on a flat roof outside the apartment where her owners lived. She was very loved by the family including all the young kids in the home, but she did not receive a lot of training intros early months, so a commitment to working on basic training is very important for her new adopters.

She is a wonderful happy pup, who loves all people, and will love to be in a family, preferably with another dog or in close contact with other dogs. She does have some separation anxiety so being left alone for long hours while her family is at school or work is not going to be a good thing for this little dog who just wants to cuddle up with you!

Please email us for an application at pawfundadopt@aol.com.
Our adoption fee is $200

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LANA, a Emeryville Poodle (Miniature)/Maltese puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Maltese for sale in Emeryville, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Maltese puppy from a breeder in Emeryville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Emeryville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Emeryville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Maltese breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Emeryville paves the way for another one to be saved.
