Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sometimes we just can't figure out why a great dog keeps getting passed by. Sammy is a big favorite of the volunteers! And no wonder - he is such a good natured guy who gets along with everyone. He is friendly and playful. Sam is a happy dog who would love to go with you for a hike, a Miner's baseball game or just hang out with you in front of the tv. He would also not mind being a lap dog as well if you have room! His bigger size may be too much for some smaller sized children (accidentally knock them over while running around) but Sammy is otherwise just so lovable and sweet. You can also see what a happy fellow he is from the way he smiles in the pictures! Sammy had tested positive for Lyme's but he has completed treatment and doing great. He is 2 years old and 64 pounds. Please help this handsome Lab/Beagle-Coohhound mix find the loving home he deserves.

Sam's adoption fee is $250. This covers all their age-appropriate shots and vetting.
**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
