Facts about Rusty

  • Breed: Siberian Husky
  • Color: Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut - With White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Rusty is a 3 year old AKC Siberian Husky who was seized from his previous owners along with Zaily (a female). They were used for breeding by the previous owners.

Rusty will do best in a home as the only dog or with a female dog as his companion. He tends to be dominate with other male dogs. Rusty does have a prey drive so he can not be in a home with small dogs or cats.

He has responded well to positive reinforcement training. He is a sweet boy that needs someone who has previous Siberian Husky experience. He is very much a typical husky. Loving and sweet; defiant and ornery.

Rusty is crate trained and house broken. He has been neutered recently. He has had all of his vaccines and has been microchipped. He tested negative for heart worm and is kept on prevention. He does get along with the female dogs here with ease. He is dominant and pushy with the males.

If you are interested in Rusty or any of our dogs please go to www.howlatthemoonrescue.com His adoption fee is $250

About Howl at the Moon Siberian Husky Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

I started this rescue in honor of my first (he passed away in 2012) husky. He taught me a lot about how special Siberian Huskies are (and how much work they can be). Everything I do can be reflected on my long relationship with Nanook. He changed my life.
