Rusty's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Rusty's Story...
Rusty is a 3 year old AKC Siberian Husky who was seized from his previous owners along with Zaily (a female). They were used for breeding by the previous owners.

Rusty will do best in a home as the only dog or with a female dog as his companion. He tends to be dominate with other male dogs. Rusty does have a prey drive so he can not be in a home with small dogs or cats.

He has responded well to positive reinforcement training. He is a sweet boy that needs someone who has previous Siberian Husky experience. He is very much a typical husky. Loving and sweet; defiant and ornery.

Rusty is crate trained and house broken. He has been neutered recently. He has had all of his vaccines and has been microchipped. He tested negative for heart worm and is kept on prevention. He does get along with the female dogs here with ease. He is dominant and pushy with the males.

If you are interested in Rusty or any of our dogs please go to www.howlatthemoonrescue.com His adoption fee is $250

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty, a Zanesville Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Zanesville, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Zanesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Zanesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Zanesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Zanesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
