zLL16 Leia - ADOPTED's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hello, I'm Leia (my sister is Jaina) and I love, love to play with my fur-siblings and run around the fenced yard with them then I will crash for a few and I'm up and at it again, this is what I do all day. Because I was in a shelter I'm still working on potty training and I'm doing really well. I sleep in a kennel at night because I can't "hold it" all night yet. I need an active family to have fun with me and continue to train and socialize me so when I grow up I'm the best I can be. I love to play with other dogs and I'm fine with cats (I'm still trying to figure them out because they hiss at me all the time but I haven't chased them). Kids are fun because I love to play and run around with them.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

zLL16 Leia - ADOPTED, a Northville German Shorthaired Pointer/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer/Collie for sale in Northville, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer/Collie dog from a breeder in Northville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Northville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Northville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer/Collie breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Northville paves the way for another one to be saved.
