Khloe and Niyah are two sisters who came together to CRT. They were surrendered to CRT due to some pretty severe life changing circumstances for the couple that loved them to the moon and back! It was a story we just felt we had to help these girls and the family that was forced to let go. These girls are bonded and they really do well together. They have lived the first 7 years of their lives together and we would LOVE for them to be adopted together. If your home is open for two (or you know of a home), please consider Khloe and Niyah.

Khloe and Niyah have wonderful personalities. These girls could write a book on how to be super sweet, quiet and absolutely no trouble at all. They both get along great with the other dogs in their foster home. They don't play a lot with toys, but occasionally they will pick one up for a little bit of fun. They also enjoy being outside in the sun. We think they would be fine with cats as they have not exhibited any tendencies toward chasing squirrels.

These girls definitely do everything together. Even though they both have a doggie bed, they love to crawl in to the same doggie bed and curl up next to each other when taking afternoon naps. Their bond and loyalty to each other melts our hearts. Khloe and Niyah will sleep in their doggie beds at night, but they prefer to climb up in your bed and sleep with you. They can often be found snoozing on their foster Mom and Dad's pillows on the big bed during the day!

Khloe and Niyah love their humans. They want to be with you and share life, love and adventures with you. Their foster Mom has a home office and they love to cuddle in a doggie bed and snooze while she is working on her computer. And at night, they share lap time with their foster Dad as he watches TV. They rarely bark, even when their foster siblings are raising the roof - lol. If you have a dog friendly work place - they would be great for that environment. They would definitely enjoy being at work with you and your co-workers.

These girls are super smart. They are both 100% potty trained and have not had one accident in their foster home. They have fit in to the foster home routines immediately. Their foster Mom says they are two of the easiest fosters she has ever had. They are happy, they get along with dogs and people, and are just adorable dogs who want to be around their family. If you are looking for love - these are your girls.

These two girls are both 7 years old. Khloe weighs approx 6.5 pounds and Niyah weighs approx 7.5 pounds. They get along with everyone, including children. They will make great family dogs. For anyone who is looking for a few wonderful companions, please consider these girls.

About Chihuahua Rescue & Transport, Inc. - Dallas Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

CRT does not warehouse dogs in a shelter. As in most rescue groups, our dogs are cared for in healthy, safe, loving foster home environments. CRT foster parents work very hard to be sure that their foster dog feels safe and loved while working on housetraining, crate training, socialization, etc. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, fecal tested, microchipped, on heartworm preventative and have all other veterinary needs taken care of (such as heartworm treatment, dentals, luxating patellas, etc.) CRT is known, and has always been known, for taking the injured, infirm and elderly Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes. Please consider the adoption of one of these dogs as well. Seniors and special needs dogs make great pets too!

Come Meet Our Pets...

CRT holds various opportunities to meet the dogs looking for homes in our group. These locations, times, and places are listed on our website:

Our Adoption Process...

CRT accepts applications, checks references and requires a home visit. An adoption donation is requested. CRT does not have a shelter and all dogs are fostered in the private homes of our volunteers. Once an application is submitted the foster of the dog inquired about will contact the potential adopter to answer any questions about the dog.
