James "Bond"'s Story...
Bond is young (1-3 years old) and weighs approximately 5 pounds. He is a shy little boy, but once he warms up to you, he will want to be by your side at all times. He is a super love bug and craves snuggle time with those he loves. Bond is most comfortable around adults and children 12 and up. Small children tend to intimidate him which results in a lot of barking, growling and fear on his part. He is very attuned to the environment around him and is a great little "watch dog" that announces guest arriving at your home. If you are interested in adding Bond to your family, please go to www.goofyfootrescue.org to complete an online adoption application. He is currently being fostered in West Tennessee. He will be transported once his adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

James "Bond", a Southington Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Southington, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
