WRIGLEY's Story...
WRIGLEY - is a 2 year old shep/lab mix that has lovingly been dubbed "Wiggley Wrigley" This pup has lots and lots of energy making him the perfect candidate for our PAWS BEHIND BARS prison dog training program. He entered last week and is giving his experienced inmate handler a run for his money. He's a good dog and is having a blast with all the other dogs. He just struggles with someone telling him what to do - he thinks playing ALL THE TIME is ok. But we'll get that under control - slowly and gently and he'll be a perfect family companion. He'll probably be best suited for an experienced dog/shepherd owner so he understands that no matter where he goes, his owner is in charge. If interested in adopting, please email adoptmebpr@aol.com or call 502-777-1442.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

WRIGLEY, a LaGrange Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in LaGrange, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in LaGrange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LaGrange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LaGrange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LaGrange paves the way for another one to be saved.
