Hazel's Story...
Hi my name is Hazel and I am a 1-2 year old girl. I weigh all of 15 pounds, perfect sized for a lap. I was found on the side of the road ready to have my babies. I had 9 kiddos and they have all found their forever homes so it's my turn now! I am shy at first and may run from you but give me some patience and I will crawl into your lap to snuggle. I live with other dogs and kitties and we all get along great. I think a confident dog in the home will really help me come out of my shell even faster!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hazel, a Sugar Grove Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Sugar Grove, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Sugar Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sugar Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sugar Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sugar Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
