Bella's Story...
Meet Bella! Bella has a sister and a brother that she loves to play with. She would love to be adopted with a sibling, but she would also be great with another cat if you already had one. Bella is a 10 month old all black spayed DSH. He is very smart, curious and playful.

All siblings are 10 months old spayed/neutered all black DSH.

They like to find toys and hold them in their mouths as they growl. It's funny and cute but they are never mean. You can take it from them and they will step back and let you. They're super sweet.
It would be great if they could go together if possible.

She and her siblings were left on our porch in a taped up cardboard box. They are all darling and would love to come home with you. They have never been exposed to dogs. All of our cats are inside only cats who are very sweet and content being indoor.

We have been running a cat rescue for 10 years out of our home. Recently a neighbor made a complaint against us having too many cats, even though all of them are cared for wonderfully and are kept inside. The authorities came to our house and ordered all cats to be claimed by animal services in 3 days to be euthanized. Upon pleading with them, they extended us an extra few weeks to find our cats homes.

Please help us save these kitties. Whether you're wanting to permanently adopt or temporarily foster, we are praying and hoping we can find these sweet rescues homes.

Thank you so much.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Port Richey Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Port Richey, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Port Richey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Port Richey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Port Richey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Port Richey paves the way for another one to be saved.
