Haven's Story...
Hi, my name is HAVEN and I am a 2 year old Tabby girl with GORGEOUS CALICO coloring and BEAUTIFUL green eyes. Up until recently, I had a home of my own, but for some reason my owner abandoned me in my carrier at Petsmart! Posh Pets Rescue sprung into action and now I’m in foster care and my foster parents have said that I am a VERY EASY CAT and LOW MAINTENANCE. They have commented on how WELL-BEHAVED and GENTLE I am. (I never bite or hiss) They noted that I use my SCRATCHING PAD like a good girl and that I do not scratch the furniture or jump on the kitchen counters. I can be HELD and I even let my foster parents TRIM MY NAILS without a fuss. I would do best as YOUR ONE AND ONLY so that I do not have to share your love. Arrange to meet me and I’m sure you’ll be smitten. I am spayed, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

To meet me, fill out the CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Haven, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
