Loki's Story...
NOTE: This is a courtesy posting for another rescuer. Please do not contact ARRF, as we do not know this pet personally. Meet this pet at the Department of Animal Services, 5821 Sweetwater Rd., Bonita 91902.

Loki a 15-month old neutered white with black Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier blend. Although Loki is a larger dog weighing in at 85 lbs, he is quite easy to handle. He enjoys going on walks and car rides.

Loki walks well on a leash, knows sit, and settles down nicely. He LOVES all dogs, big or small, and is extremely well behaved around them. He loves to run around and play. He would do best in a home with another canine as he really enjoys being with other dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Loki, a Vista Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Vista, or seeking a Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
