Glory's Story...
My name is Glory, a golden retriever/ Newfoundland mix. I am 5 yrs. old, spayed, house-broken and crate trained. I am looking for a very low-key home, with a fenced in back yard, and a family with a lot of patience to work with me...you see, I am just terrified of people & just about everything, EXCEPT other dogs and my foster mom. I don't need.a crate, but I prefer one to be open for me to be my 'safe place'. I LOVE treats and cuddles with my foster mom and a chew bone is the bomb!!

If you are interested in meeting and thinking about adoption, please visit our website, http//www.wagginghearts.org, and submit a completed adoption application. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are only able to process fully completed applications. All applications are processed in the order that they are received. On our website you will also find our adoption process and fees. Since we are a foster based rescue we are unable to set up meet and greets until a completed application is on file and has been approved.

Wagging Hearts is a foster-based, non-profit rescue organization.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Glory, a Hainesville Golden Retriever/Newfoundland dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Newfoundland for sale in Hainesville, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Newfoundland dog from a breeder in Hainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Newfoundland breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Newfoundland rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
