Pepe's Story...
Sheep Draw Veterinary Clinic has a special needs chihuahua looking for a very special home!!! Pepe is a 7yr old chihuahua he is partially paralyzed, but as you can see he gets around great in his cart!! Pepe's special needs will require a home where someone is home most of the time. His paralysis has left him unable to urinate on his own, this requires his owner to express his bladder 4-5 times a day. He is fecal Incontinent, so he goes whenever/wherever. He has a very fun personality and is eager to be loved! UPDATE: Pepe loves to play with his new toy, but he is also a big time snuggle bug! He is making great strides, he is starting to stand on his own and is gaining some use of his back legs!! He does have the potential to walk again, he can walk on his own when he is on carpet for about 5-10 minutes. He is gaining strength! Please contact us if you are interested in giving him a loving home! Sheep Draw Veterinary Hospital 970-351-0936

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepe, a Greeley Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Greeley, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Greeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
