Hi. My name is Rosalita, but friends call me Rosie. They say I’m a polly dak.., poli dac.., aw, well - I have extra fingers and toes. I’m a dilute tortoiseshell kitty, which means my coat is made up of pastels blended together. I’m about two years old – young enough to raise a ruckus, but old enough to know better. I’m a very good conversationalist and will always greet you when you get home and ask you about your day. Even though my coat is short and I don’t shed much, I enjoy being brushed. A girl needs to always look her best.
Playtime is my favorite time of the day (after meal time and snack time, of course.) I often have to go find my foster mommy and remind her that it’s time to play. I like chasing feathers best. I especially like it when they hide and I can sneak up on them. Sometimes I’ll hide instead so I can launch a sneak attack. Sometimes both the toy and I hide. Wild times!
I’ll make you a deal. I won’t try to pick you up, if you don’t pick me up. Just sit down and I’ll come to you. Maybe I’ll even purr you to sleep.
Well, enough about me. Why don’t you submit an application and tell me a bit about yourself?
As the song goes, “Rosalita, jump a little lighter. Senorita, come sit by my fire. Rosie, you're the one!”
