My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Muriel has the best kitten RBF (resting b*tch face). It actually makes this sweet little tortie even

more adorable. Muriel and her sister Max(ine) were named after Australian movies because the

lanai that housed them and their feral family is very much like the Outback. (If the Outback were

fully paved and had low-flying planes headed to LaGuardia overhead.) The two were part of a

multi-generational colony, and all of the sibling and half-sibling kittens we’ve adopted out from this

group have grown into affectionate, lovely, healthy cats.

Because circumstances wouldn’t allow me to bring them in at the optimal time in their kittenhood,

they are still a tiny bit skittish around humans, but are adapting beautifully with their foster family.

Muriel is the shyer of the two, but is starting to come out of her shell, slowly, but surely. Once she

trusts you (which does take a while), she purrs like a machine when you scratch her head.

Muriel is a six-month old sweetheart, spayed, fully vaccinated, and FIV/FeLV negative. Ideally,

Max and Muriel would be adopted together, but they can be separated, though the adopter MUST

have another cat or cat-friendly pet. They’re used to being part of a little cat gang and they

integrate beautifully with other animals.

Texted negative, vaccinated and spayed.
