Chips SH's Story...
This little guy is Chips, what a cutie he is! Chips is full of energy and spunk and you better watch your step walking around the house, because he will follow you everywhere you go, sounding like a tiny galloping horse running after you and between your feet...

He loves his toys and tumbles and rolls all through the house playing, he is very brave and does not mind picking a {play} fight with our dogs, who outweigh him by more than 10 pounds. (the dogs always let him win)

Chips is a quiet cat, who likes his cuddles and demands to lay in your lap in the evenings or to use you as his nap time pillow throughout the day but he gets very vocal around feeding time and lets you know that you are just not filling his dish fast enough!

He is a wild, goofy, sweet little boy that makes you laugh just by watching him run and play, and of course he will steal your heart with that loud purr during cuddle time.

Chip has been neutered, microchipped, is current on vaccinations, and tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV

Please go to www.homesforpets.org and complete an adoption app to find out more about this cutie. A kitten adoption fee is $75.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chips SH, a Schertz Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Schertz, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Schertz.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schertz already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schertz breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schertz paves the way for another one to be saved.
