Dawn is 3-4 years old, crate trained, house trained, good with kids and all other animals. She likes to chew and if left unsupervised, will find something to chew. She has plenty of energy and likes to jump. She walks well on a leash and is lead trained.

Dawn is like a charmer! Beautiful and sweet and extremely loving. Gets along with all animals and loves kids.

Dawn is ready to find her forever home.

The adoption fee of $350 includes age-appropriate vaccines, initial de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, USDA interstate health certificate (for transport only) and transport fee. Please go to our site for general information and the adoption application. The application is the first step in all adoptions/inquiries. This is not a link; please type in into a new browser window. At this time, we are unable to adopt to Rhode Island residents. Please note: Pups marked “pending” are adopted but not yet traveled home. They are to be considered unavailable. Thank you. About For Dogs Sake

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small, volunteer organized and run dog rescue. We work with shelters and rescue groups in AR & AL to find homes for their locally unwanted, but highly loveable puppies and dogs. The pups and dogs are brought to New England on transport once their vaccinations are up to date for travel. We are always in need of foster homes for our pups; the more we have, the more pups can be saved.

Courtesy post: FDSR has chosen to help select other rescue groups with exposure in hopes that their dogs may have a better chance for placement. FDSR only lists the dogs and their bio information as is it presented to us. We are not involved with the approval or adoption of these animals; that is done through the other rescue groups. Know that a decline from that group does not mean that other rescues (including FDSR) would decline a subsequent application for adoption of one of our pups, as each group has their own set of criteria for approval.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Appointments can be made to visit some pups at their foster homes at mutually convenient times for adopters and foster parents. (The pups are up for a visit anytime!)

Our Adoption Process...

We require the potential adopter to fill out an application form and tell us about what life would be like as a puppy at your house. The address to the adoption form can be found in the pups' bio. Once the application is received, we will check your references and then contact you for an informal "phone interview." If it is mutually determined to be a good match, an adoption contract is sent via email. Our adoption fee is stated in their bios, and is due at the time of adoption. A signed and dated adoption contract is due at puppy pick up.
