12/20/16 - Lovie is recovering very well from her surgery. You can tell she is ready to be able to start living life on her new legs. She is a love bug and gets attached to her humans very quickly. She loves sleeping in bed with her foster mom. After the new year, she will have her teeth cleaned. Then she will really be as good as new.

11/11/16 - Lovie had surgery yesterday and is still at the vet. They said that it went well, but they ended up performing a tibial transposition on both hind legs in addition to the trochlear wedge resection. She will be able to return to her foster home on Monday and will be on crate rest for the next 4-6 weeks. We will update everyone as she recovers.

LOVIE HAS GRADE 4 LUXATING PATELLAS AND WILL BE HAVING SURGERY WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9TH. BOTH OF HER BACK KNEES ARE VERY BAD AND POOR THING WILL GET SUCH A RELIEF IN WALKING ONCE THIS IS DONE! PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING TO HER SURGERY. THE ESTIMATE IS $1,700.
