JUST LOOK AT THIS HAPPY, HANDSOME GUY! Sylvester is a gorgeous MinPin Boy. He is about 9 years old, neutered and up to date on shots.

Hi, My name is Sly. I'm an adorable 9 year old Miniature Pinscher or aka, Min Pin. My original owner had to give me up because they were sick and could no longer take care of me, so Oodles of Doodles took me in and promised me they would find me a forever home. Don't be turned off by the fact I'm 9 years old. You would never know it by the way I act. I love, love going for walks with my person. I have lots of energy, so I need a person or family who is active and will take me out on several walks a day. Oh yeah, I also love being outside in the sun and exploring my backyard, so a fenced in yard is a must. I don't mind being around other dogs as my foster family has 4 dogs and we get along just fine. I prefer to play with the little guys more my size than the bigger ones. I need a home where my person or family is home most of the time because I get a little anxious when I'm by myself. I also would like a canine sibling to keep me company. My foster family does not crate me because I'm not destructive in the house, but sometimes I have accidents, so we are working on that, but foster mom says a belly band is perfect for those times. I also love to relax and just snuggle with my people. So if you want a small(about 16 pounds), lovable, energetic guy, I'm your man. Please take a chance on me. I would love to meet you.

UPDATE: We have just discovered Sly has Diabetes. He will need to be on insulin which should be about $40 a month. Sly is worthy of his own loving home and will be a loving companion to that Special Someone.

Breed stated is just a shelter/rescue/foster guess based on size, appearance and temperament. It is impossible for us to know for sure as most of our dogs are strays from high kill shelters.

THIS IS AN OODLES OF DOODLES, INC. ADOPTABLE DOG or RESCUE or OWNER ASSISTED REHOME DOG. Please DO NOT confuse us with any other "Doodle Rescue." We are Independent Rescuers working as a "Collective," to save Poodle-mix dogs from kill shelters and other situations. ALL Applications are sent to the Foster, Rescue or Family who has the dog and who checks references, does home visits and conducts interviews. Please DO NOT send inquiries. PLEASE, WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS and CANNOT ANSWER OTHER INQUIRIES without having an application on file. IF YOU ARE A MATCH FOR THE DOG, YOU WILL BE CONTACTED. Thank you for understanding.

All Oodles of Doodles dogs are located in foster or family homes across the North American Continent. We do not have a central location. THE LOCATION GIVEN IN THE DOG'S NAME IS WHERE HE or SHE IS LOCATED. Unless otherwise stated, WE DO NOT ADOPT, SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR DOGS AWAY FROM THE AREA THEY ARE IN. THAT MEANS WITHIN A 50 MILE RADIUS. WE DO NOT ADOPT TO URBAN/APARTMENT ENVIRONMENTS. WE REQUIRE FENCED YARDS (an e-fence is not a secure fence). PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MATCH WHAT WE ARE ASKING FOR. IT ONLY WASTES OUR VALUABLE TIME, AND YOURS.
If the listing is given as ADOPTABLE, than the right home has not been located yet and the dog is still available for adoption. Please fill out an application and not send inquiries.

About Oodles of Doodles Rescue Collective - Northeast

About Our Rescue Group...

RESCUE, REHOME & SUPPORT~SINCE 2008
A 501(c)(3) NON-PROFIT PUBLIC CHARITY~SINCE 2010

We rescue, vet and transport Southern Kill Shelter Dogs to the Northeast and specialize in Fuzzy Dogs, Poodle Mixes and Terriers. We foster in our own homes and find the best Forever Homes for them. We work as a "Collective" to list, interview, socialize, vet, transport and feed our beautiful dogs. Our adopters become part of our family and we love seeing update pictures and hearing how our dogs are faring. We believe we cannot save them all but we can do our part to save as many as we can.

Our Adoption Process...

Our dogs are housed in loving Foster homes until adopted. Applications are taken, references are checked, there will be a home visit and two week trial period. Adopters pay an Adoption Donation between $250-$525, which covers vetting costs and must sign a contract. If for any reason the dog must be rehomed, he is to be returned to us. We require a fully physical fenced yard but will consider the needs and temperament of the dog on a case by case basis. All dogs are spayed or neutered and up to date on shots before adoption unless very young or sick, then there will be a deposit and S/N Contract.
