APOLLO's Info...

APOLLO's Story...
STRANGE circumstances led us to find this sweet young doberman mix who was found at a Storage facility east of EVART. Could not help but notice that their was also a mattress left outside... Hope this sweet, young, confused, but very deserving dog just lost his way - and was not abandoned. So strange for a dog to go to an empty storage facility to look for help? "APOLLO" is still young so he frightens easily and we think a quiet home would be best for him. SURE is Handsome, you can clearly see doberman in his head, body and even has a docked tail. Found without a license, or microchip that could of helped him find home... APOLLO now needs your likes and shares. He was very hungry when he was found and we are so very grateful to his finder for calling him in - and keeping him away from busy US10 till we could get to him. Age is estimated at about 1-1/2 yr old. Seems house-trained here at the shelter. Interested adopters should come with meaty treats so he can get to know you faster.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

APOLLO, a Reed City Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever for sale in Reed City, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Reed City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reed City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reed City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reed City paves the way for another one to be saved.
