GEORGE's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

GEORGE's Story...

Rescued from certain death, George is no stranger to love. A purr-factor, George is playful, but mild mannered. Once his romping time is over, he will snuggle down with his human for a quick nap.

George is one of 3 kittens rescued from outdoors near a high traffic road, where their death was eminent had RVAS not stepped in to save them.

Fully vetted, George is a steal and a deal for any feline lover!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GEORGE, a Des Moines Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Des Moines, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Des Moines.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Des Moines already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Des Moines breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Des Moines paves the way for another one to be saved.
