My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Tango. He is an African Gray, presumed to be male, and he is approximately 15-16 years old. He was seized by animal control many years ago when he witnessed his elderly owner's murder/suicide. He does not do well with loud noises. He's not your typical loud and noisy gray. He's actually relatively quiet most of the time and very laid back. He can be very animated when he wants to be and does his fair share of noise making, calls the dogs, etc. From the time he's been with the rescue, we have seen him relate well to both men and women and loves having his head scratched and hanging out on top of his cage. He tends to be a little cage territorial however once he is out and about he is completely fine. Gray's tend to be one person birds, therefore he would NOT do best as a family pet or being handled by children, but with a single male or female owner.
