Finch's Story...
I’m a cute little bugger named Finch. Friendly, adorable, and no, I’m not a hairless Chihuahua- I’m just recovering from mange… It’s no big deal though, I have meds and I’m coming along just fine. Other than that I’m as healthy as a wild burro! (a wild burro is a wild donkey that is known for its hardiness, curiosity, and cleverness.) Anyway, I’m a fun little dude who is ready for a new home. New situation can make me nervous, so kids over 10 will be best. I really enjoy the company of other pooches and I look forward to meeting the cat. I have never met a cat before, but I think it will be fine… We’ll just have to see. Anywho… Do think you have room in your home for a little 12 pound wild burro like myself? 1 /2 years old-12lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; neuter, microchip, 5 week Training Class, free veterinary exam (Portland/Milwaukie area), 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Finch, a Portland Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Portland, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
