Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bandit is an awesome dog that seems to love everyone he meets. This boy loves toys and knows his commands. Bandit is estimated to be 2 years old and weighs 48 pounds. Don't you just love the thin white line that runs down the middle of his nose? And imagine how adorable he will be as he ages and little white whiskers pop up on his distinguished chin. Bandit lost his way from home and wound up at the shelter on Oct. 26th. He is up to date with shots, neutered, and heartworm negative. If his adopter gives him a once monthly preventative he will stay healthy and heartworm free his entire life! Sometimes people feel they can't afford a heartworm preventative but if the dog is bitten by an infected mosquito and isn't on the preventative it will develop heartworms which is progresses over time (months and years) into a fatal reality. So let's keep Bandit on the easy pill or topical that keeps him heartworm free! All dogs should be on heartworm preventative! Bandit will be micro-chipped upon adoption. He is in Run 119 and his ID is 594786. Bandit was adopted and his new person did not properly contain him so he is now back at the shelter after being picked up on 03/25.
When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
