Jayda's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Jayda's Story...
Jayda is a beautiful 3.5 year old Lab mix who finds herself in need of a new home. Jayda, who weighs 45 lbs, is a high energy lady who would do best in a home with a fenced yards. She also loves to go on walks and play fetch. Jayda lives with and gets along with other dogs, but she would also do well as an "only child". Jayda is housebroken, spayed, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped. Although she can be left alone without fear of her being destructive, Jayda is crate trained. As you see in her pictures, Jayda has grown-up around younger children, however, we think a home with no children under 10 years old would be the best spot for her, simply due to her high energy. Potential adopters with young children, who are dog savvy and familiar with the breed, will be considered. Because we do all our own house checks, we ask that applicants live within 30 miles of our location in Newtown, Bucks County Pa. If you'd like to meet this lovable young lady, please submit an adoption application which can be found on our web-site, www.silverlakeanimalrescue.org. NOTE: POTENTIAL ADOPTERS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED WITHOUT FIRST SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jayda, a Newtown Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Newtown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Newtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
