Tristan (Neutered)'s Story...
"Tristan" is a charming 2-year old male kitty who arrived at the HSOV on October 25, 2016 along with his best friend ("Black Knight"). These boys are very bonded with each other and are sharing a tower in the lobby of our shelter. "Tristan" has an orange tabby medium smooth coat, a long fluffy ringed tail, and an adorable face with topaz-colored eyes. This boy has a delightful personality and is extremely affectionate. He purrs constantly and is a pushover for attention. Our photographer thought that 'Prince Charming' was an appropriate name for him but, unfortunately, there wasn't a prince charming character in the Arthurian Legend which was the theme for naming cats the day this loverboy arrived :) "Tristan" weighs 7.8 lbs. He was given vaccinations and wormer on October 25, 2016. "Tristan" was neutered on November 2, 2016, and he was also given rabies vaccine. The adoption fee for this handsome boy is just $20 with an approved adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tristan (Neutered), a Marietta Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
