Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Astrid #4389 is a 4-year-old female, Beagle/Basset mix. Astrid is a sweet young lady who came to us with a little of puppies. She was also had heartworms. She has undergone all her treatment and is now ready for her forever home. She is housebroken and crate trained, likes other dogs, cats and kids. She walks well on a leash but is just as happy to go out in the yard. She can be a bit shy sometimes if you raise your voice, at some point in time someone was very mean to her. We recommend a home with children 10 years old and older who understand how to be calm around her. She loves cuddling with her foster family and is incredibly gentle. She really enjoys treats - rawhides and meat bones are her favorite. Astrid is a very calm girl who does not need much exercise. She weighs 40 pounds and is full grown. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship.
