Murph's Story...
Hey guys! My name is Murph. My brothers, Ranger, Luke, Bayliss, and I were rescued from the wild outdoors when we were very young. Now that we’ve grown big and strong, we’re on the hunt for our very own forever homes!

Like my brothers, I am a very well rounded little guy. I’m very affection, and I love to snuggle. Save a spot for me on the sofa. I’m a pretty curious little guy. I love to explore and try new things. I haven’t found a toy that I don’t like. I’m even a great climber! I’m a very smart and very observant little guy. I love to watch over the house from the top of my cat tree or settle down in the window for a little cat TV.

I’ve never met any doggie friends or tiny humans, but I’m a laid back little guy, so I think I would do great in any kind of home. It would be awesome if I had a kitty friend to play with though, maybe even one of my brothers! If you’re looking for a super cute TV watching buddy, sign me up!

If you'd like to meet me, please email to setup a visit. Don't forget to tell them you want to meet Murph!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Murph, a Richmond Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
