Tripp's Story...
Hey everybody, I’m Tripp! I was recently rescued from the wild outdoors. Now I’m living the good life in a cozy foster home. But I hear that the best type of home to have is a forever home, so I want to find one of those!

I am a pretty awesome little guy, if you ask me. I am very affectionate, and I love to snuggle. But, I am also lots of fun! I love to play with all kinds of toys. My very favorite toys are mice and balls because I can swat them around and chase them down! But I also like that wand toys with the strings and feathers on the end. I’ve been practicing my high jump!

I don’t have a lot of requirements for my forever home. I’m a pretty easy going little guy. If there are toys for me to play with and laps for me to snuggle up in, I’ll be all set! Does that sound like your house?

If you'd like to meet me, please email to setup a visit. Don't forget to tell them you want to meet Tripp!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tripp, a Richmond Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
