Hi I’m Emma. I am a 40 lb. super sweet 2 year old American Stafford/Shepherd Mix. I just found out a couple of months ago that I am a special needs pup. I have a disease called Addison’s and that requires that I receive a shot once a month for the rest of my life. They say I can live a full happy life even with this disease but I need someone who can commit to providing this medical shot for me. Otherwise I am a happy and healthy pup. I love to run around in the yard (I need a fenced in yard) otherwise I will take off. I am also a very laid back kind of dog. I really love to cuddle with anyone who will let me. I don’t seem to mind cats or children the few times I was around them, and I get along with other dogs. I promise I will be a wonderful companion pet. About The Rescue Inn

About Our Rescue Group...

The Rescue Inn, Inc. ("TRI") is an Ohio non-profit, foster-based rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs in need.

We are run by a dedicated group of volunteers who are passionate about our four-legged friends. Our mission is to save dogs from high kill shelters and abuse/neglect situations and place those animals into loving and permanent homes. We promote responsible animal ownership and provide medical treatment, foster care and training to unwanted, abandoned, lost or surrendered animals.

Our animals are spayed/neutered, receive appropriate veterinary care and are placed into a safe, secure foster home while waiting for their permanent home. We also strive to work with other area shelters and rescues to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to enhance our rescue mission.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a foster-based rescue and place our animals into safe, secure foster homes while awaiting permanent homes. We make every effort to schedule meet and greets with interested applicants upon request.

You can also visit our pets on our website at http://www.therescueinn.com/

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in meeting and adopting one of our dogs, you must be at least 18 years of age.

Our adoption process begins by completing an application, which can be found on our website, or you can contact us at therescueinn@gmail.com. Your application will be reviewed and someone will contact you for a phone interview and possible meet and greet. We will also check personal and vet references and conduct a home visit. Once your application is approved, an adoption contract is entered into.

Adoption fee is $200.00.

Fee Includes:
Basic age-appropriate shots (DHPP or DHLPP, Rabies, Bordetella)
Spay/Neuter
Fecal/Worming
Heartworm test (if animal is old enough)
