Facts about Teddy Bear

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) Mix
  • Color: Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Poor Teddy has been overlooked for so long! He really wants and deserves his own family.
Rescued from Heard Animal Control as a puppy, Teddy would love his forever home. He is great with other dogs, big & small. He is very TOY and TREAT driven. Would be easy to train tricks. Teddy is crate trained for night time sleeping and housebroken. Very loving and kind. He loves to play but is not rambunctious.

About Heard County Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a handful of volunteers in Heard County Georgia. A non-profit 501(c)(3) & licensed GA rescue organization formed to assist our local animals. There is a huge need, because Heard County only has an Animal Control facility and not a shelter. Animals are at risk as soon as their stray hold date is over. We were formed to assist in pulling animals, networking them and to work to spay/neuter as many as possible in our county.

Our Adoption Process...

We strive to get our rescued animals matched with the best forever homes. Because of this, a Pre-adoption questionnaire is required for review. The questionnaire must be completed before any pet visits will be arranged. We prefer to have the enitre family meet the potential pet.
There is a general contract to sign at the time of adoption. Fees typically range from $150-$250 per animal, depending on the cost of vetting.
