I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Hi My name is Jax and I am 1-2 yr old Chow Chow mix. I am in training with Puppies for Parole in Cameron MO and I a loving it!! They say I am really smart so I have learned quickly. I know how to sit, stay, roll over, lay down, fetch, walk on a leash and do recall where I come when off leash. I am good with people and other dogs. I love to play tug a war and love to run/play. I am very loyal dog and love my owners. I am still working on all my training but can not wait to meet my forever family!! If you are interested in meeting or adopting this dog or if you have any questions please feel free to contact our volunteer Kathy Zipp at email@example.com or contact her at 816-752-2295. We will try to respond back as quickly as we can but all of our staff or volunteers also work. Thank you
The City of Cameron is partnering with the Department of Corrections program Puppies for Parole. In Cameron, we have Western Missouri Correctional Center and Crossroads Correctional Center that we work with for the Puppies for Parole Program . ( http://doc.mo.gov/DAI/P4P.php ) The dogs are shelter dogs from the City of Cameron that are viewed as hard to adopt because of socialization/behavior issues. The dogs are then sent for basic obedience training (Canine Good Citizen) where the learn basic obedience training along with being house trained and kennel trained. The dogs are then adopted out to loving families who are looking for a dog to add as a member of their family.
Come Meet Our Pets...
The dogs can be viewed or adopted through appointments.
Our Adoption Process...
