Facts about Zoey

  • Breed: Boston Terrier/French Bulldog Mix
  • Color: White - With Tan, Yellow Or Fawn
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Zoey, a 38lb Boston Terrier/French Bulldog mix, was picked up on a busy road by a super nice police officer. Poor thing didn’t have a collar, was lost, scared, hungry, and very skinny. With proper nutrition and vetting, she is gaining weight and looking good. To make friends with Zoey, just scratch her chin or rub her belly, and she will be yours! We believe Zoey to be around 2 years old. She enjoys playing outdoors so a back yard would be nice. Zoey has been accepted into her foster homes 4-legged pack with no issues and has shown no interest in cats. Her foster family is working on socialization outside of the home as she seems a little a timid around crowds especially children. Zoey is in the beginning stages of crate & house training, but we have no doubt she will ace them. If you think this little sweetheart would be a great addition to your family, please mention her name on the adoption application located on the Dirt Road Doggie Rescue website – Adopt Me page and submit online.

About Dirt Road Doggies Rescue, INC

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small canine rescue group located in Northeast Georgia that works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, fully vet, and rehome faithful dogs that have been tossed out of cars onto rural roads. We are a registered, 501c3 tax deductible Non Profit Rescue and we are licensed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture

All dogs in our program have been previously reported to animal control to ensure they were not lost pups who had a family diligently looking for them. We do not turn a dog away due to breed, health concerns, or age. It is our goal to keep these dogs out of animal shelters, thus saving their lives and providing more time to the dogs already in shelters to find their forever family.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Dirt Road Doggies Rescue, INC is located in the quaint town of Gillsville, in the foothills of the Georgia Mountains, just south of Gainesville. Our rescues are fostered in loving homes located in Hall, Jackson, and neighboring counties.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption is a four part process.

Application: You will be required to submit general information along with personal and vet references.

Home visit: Potential adopters will receive a home visit by one of our members.

Meet -n- Greet: All family members (fur babies included) must meet the foster parent and pup they wish to adopt.

Here at Dirt Road Doggies Rescue, each adoption contribution is $200 per dog. We do not adjust this rate based on the "popularity" of a dog. We believe every dog is worthy of an owner that sees the value in them. Each adoption contribution is used to cover the expenses incurred for that dog and other dogs in our program.
