Ruby & Pearl's Story...
Ruby & Pearl's Story...
Purebred Scotties -- about 7 years old (they are sisters as they're from the same parents but they're about 6 months apart ... different litters) and they have grown up together. To be adopted as a pair only and cannot be separated.
Both girls are housebroken and very nicely trained. They love going for walks and ride well in the car. Ruby is very attached to her person and will follow like a shadow all over the house.
Ruby and Pearl are friendly, happy, and loving, however, they can be unpredictable with children as well as with strangers who come into the home.
Two Pathways volunteers have met them on separate occasions, as well as a trainer who evaluated them.. The interaction with both dogs was tail wagging and snuggling up for petting (Ruby has indicated she likes getting a belly rub every morning).
We're seeking a home with no children for these beautiful girls, and an environment where there's an understanding that if, for example, a repair or delivery person will be coming into the home that the dogs would be crated at that time. They really are sweet and have such nice manners -- we are not saying they are to live crated, but rather, just based on the history that the previous owner gave us, if a plumber is coming to do some work, just crate them for that duration.
Both are spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to be spoiled. Adoption fee for the pair is $800.00.
Ruby and Pearl are available for meeting by appointment only. Please send a private message to us to request an adoption application.
Pathways Home Animal Rescue is an all volunteer all foster based organization dedicated to finding the best home for abandoned, surrendered, and county shelter animals. We stay small so we can devote our energies and resources to all the animals in our care. When we take in a found or stray animal every effort is made to reunite them with their owners. All animals in our care receive proper veterinary care, are spayed or neutered, all appropriate vaccinations, preventative care, and microchip are administered before they are adopted.
