Loki's Story...
On July 11th Loki, a miniature schnauzer mix, was guestimated to be 7 months old and he weighed 7.3 pounds. He now weighs about 10 pounds and has energy galore! He is heartworm negative, has received his immunizations, and has been neutered. Loki gets along well with other dogs, loves to play, and enjoys snuggling when he is tired. Loki is a smart boy. He is paper trained and has begun to respond to the command "potty, Loki" when we are outside. Loki should make a great companion for long walks or runs as he has energy to spare. If you would like to adopt Loki please visit www.arfarkansas.com to find the link to our on line adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Loki, a North Little Rock Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in North Little Rock, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in North Little Rock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Little Rock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Little Rock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Little Rock paves the way for another one to be saved.
