My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Big Boy Yin is a courtesy post for Home Alone Feline Rescie

Yin” is a neutered brown tabby Domestic Short Hair who is about two years old. He’s a big boy weighing in at about 13 lbs and has a gorgeous classic tabby coat (a little swirly) with the sweetest white muzzle, pink nose, and mismatched white socks. He was brought to a public shelter as a stray, and given how sweet and friendly he is, we can’t understand why no one came to look for him. Yin’s a real lovebug and will always greet you at the door and rub against your legs to let you know he’s happy you're home. He also loves to play, especially when it comes to chasing toy mice and practicing his pounce (he is quite the athlete!). He’s also a great couch partner, and while he won’t readily sit in your lap, he’s always happy to curl up next to you, nuzzle up against your leg, or sit by the window (he’s always curious of the world outside and would prefer a home with some good views). Yin is confident and independent and is totally fine on his own when you’re out. He's also good with other cats, assuming he gets a proper introduction. Lastly, Yin is very well potty-trained, not vocal (unless he’s letting you know it’s breakfast or dinner time), and is very respectful of carpets and furniture. As his foster parent, I can promise that Yin will make your home warmer and be a great friend and companion for you and your family – I’m really hoping he finds a loving home to match.

All of Yin’s medical work is done including microchipping and you can meet him in his foster him in Arlington, VA

Adoption includes free 1st wellness exam at any Caring Hands Animal Hospital.
