This shy fellow is Gus and he is on the lookout for his loving forever home. Gus is a very sweet boy that just needs a little patience to come out of his shell. He loves having the base of his tail skritched and this is a good way to win him over. Once he is comfortable, he loves to rub his head against your legs. He is also a fan of playing with cat-nip mice. Gus came to us with his buddy Max and the two of them would greatly prefer to go to their new home together. Gus is the more outgoing of the two and Max really looks to him for reassurance. If he doesn't go home with Max, he can go to a home with a really mellow cat. Dogs are a bit scary to him and he would prefer a home without any. He'll also do best in a home with older children or adults only.
