My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello folks! My name is Henry. I'm a 6 month old neutered male German Shepherd mix puppy. I weigh 35 pounds right now but I still have a lot more growing to do. I'm as sweet and loving as they come! I'm also very curious, just as you'd expect a puppy to be. The world is still pretty new to me and every day is a fun new adventure.

Not much is known about my background. I was found wandering the streets of South LA by myself, looking for food and a warm place to take a nap. I was picked up and dropped off at the South LA pound. Now, in case you aren't aware, the pound is a chaotic and scary place to spend your time, especially for a young pup like myself. Luckily, it wasn't too long before a kind volunteer saw me and came to my rescue! They told CageFree about my plight, and asked if they'd be willing to take me into their facility. Fortunately for me, they agreed.



Now I'm waiting for my perfect forever home to come along. I'm looking for a family that will provide me with plenty of playtime and socialization. I would also benefit from obedience training, since I don't know my manners yet. I'd really like it if someone would teach me how to walk on a leash, as I'm not too familiar with that yet. Most importantly, I want a family that will show me the unconditional love I've always deserved.
