Kelsie is a spayed female who is two to three months old. She is a chihuahua mix with a very short smooth velvety soft coat. She's shy now but loves to be held. With love, attention, and the training that all puppies need she will make a great addition to some lucky family. If you think she is the right addition to your family, please call Terri at 925.417.1180. Please note, if you don't receive a return call within two days, please assume she has found a forever home.
We are a group of dedicated volunteers who believe dogs never choose to be homeless, they certainly do not deserve to be euthanized. We believe in giving these victims of circumstances a voice and kindness so they can have a second chance at life.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Since our dogs do not always attend every adoption event, it is always a good idea to check with us first if there is a specific dog you are interested in meeting at the event.
OUR ADOPTION EVENT CALENDAR:
SECOND SATURDAY OF MONTH, 10:00 - 1:00. 4460 Tassajara Road, Dublin (Petco Unleashed)
ALL OTHER SATURDAYS, 10:00 - 1:00 625 Main Street, Pleasanton (in front of Blue Agave Club)
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption application can be completed electronically and emailed to us. The application are under the "Our Adoption Process" page of our website (1LuckyDogRescue.Org). Our goal is to set our dogs up for successful adoptions by finding adopters that are well suited for each of their personalities. A home visit is required prior to adoption. We will assist in introductions to other family members, both human and furry ones. Our adoption fee is $250.
Thank You! Your message has been sent to Lucky Dog Rescue.
You'll receive a copy, too, at
to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
