Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This litter of pups came to us after their mom (a black lab) was hit and killed by a car. They were only a few days old and needed to be bottle fed and cared for round the clock. We put them into our PADDLE program (Prisoners and Dogs Developing LIfe Experiences) which is a program we run with our local jail in TN. Female trustees raise and care for the pups while they complete their vetting and we find them the perfect home. The trustees work with the pups on basic manners and train them to puppy pads. The pups live in the cells with the trustees and they get lots of play time with other pups in a common area in the "pod". We have done this for several years and the results are phenomenal! People that adopt a "PADDLE Pup" tell us the pups are extremely social, happy, well adjusted puppies.
This litter of fuzzballs are about 9 weeks old and weigh around 8 pounds. We know mom was a Lab and we think dad was a Beagle/Boxer (Adopt-a-Pet only lets us post two breeds) If you'd like to add one of these pups to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application. These pups are in TN and will be transported once their adoption is finalized.
