Bubba's Story...
Back in 2013, Bubba's owner put him and his 7 littermates in boarding when he started fighting cancer, but sadly, after many months, fell into a coma, leaving the dogs needing new homes of their own. He was adopted from us that December, but due to a hard economy, he was turned back in to us November 2016 as his family could no longer care for him and his other canine brother, Earl (formerly Conelly when he was with us in 2015, who was also left with us).

This handsome fella will make someone a great pet. Though he weighs 90 pounds, he is so gentle when he takes treats from your hand and just wants someone to spend time with him. He loves playing with his squeaky toy and putting his paw in your lap. Definitely an intelligent dog. He will make a great companion for someone, please help us get this guy someone to love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bubba, a Savannah Labrador Retriever/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Husky for sale in Savannah, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Husky dog from a breeder in Savannah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Savannah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Savannah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Husky breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Savannah paves the way for another one to be saved.
