My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This cute little Shih Tzu mix with the cute under-bite is approx 5 years old 12 lbs. He had to be shaved down as he was so matted when we rescued him. He is just the nicest little dog. He gets along great with his rescue buddies and loves people. He is not a fan of being left along and would do better in a home with another dog to keep him company. He seems to be quite well house and leash trained and can run out of a door very quickly as he likes to be where you are, so he will need a secure all adult home.

The total adoption donation of $475 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law may add an additional cost.
