My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

December 2016: Oh this boy! How gorgeous could he be? Brosco finds himself in need of a new home through no fault of his own. His human family has changed and he lost his dog friend and half his people. His dad works a long day so Brosco was home a looooong time alone in his crate. His dad loves him immeasurably but knows this is no life for a fun, active boy like Brosco.

When he is with humans, Brosco is an absolute angel. He LOVES children and he is awesome with everybody. He lived with a small dog, and has met other dogs and done well. When he met a cat recently he was fine until the cat ran, then Brosco gave chase. On the second day, however, he was able to walk past the cat without incident. We think it's not out of the question but would require vigilance if he was going to live with a cat.

Brosco loves toys and loves to be outside hiking, walking, and playing. Indoors he will find a warm couch and take a big snooze. He gets nervous when his humans leave the room and especially when they leave him alone. He has a fancy heavy-duty crate that keeps him safe and secure.

Do you have room in your home and heart for this big bundle of love? Brosco is about 80 lbs and around 3 years old.

Please note, we do not have a physical facility where our dogs are housed, they are cared for in our network of wonderful foster homes throughout New England. If you find a dog you would like to meet, our expectation is that, once approved, you will travel to meet the dog in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
