Wheaties's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Wheaties's Story...
Wheaties is a playful 10-month-old kitten who is friendly and social with other cats and dogs. She is spayed, litter box trained, up to date on vaccinations, and is negative for leukemia and FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). Wheaties can be seen in the cat adoption center at PetSmart in Spring Hill, TN (931-486-2727). As an indoor family pet the only things that Wheaties will miss out on are the dangers of being outdoors: exposed to predators, getting hit by a car, and being poisoned or shot. Please note that our rescue does not allow declawing, since there are many humane alternatives to the very painful amputation of the first knuckles of the paws. Wheaties's adoption fee is $80. (maj)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wheaties, a Pulaski Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Pulaski, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Pulaski.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pulaski already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pulaski breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pulaski paves the way for another one to be saved.
