My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi- I'm Benny! I am INCREDIBLY sweet and very lucky. I was rescued while A4A was working to help TNR a feral cat colony-- but when they caught me they found out I wasn't feral at all, in fact I am incredibly friendly and loving. I am laid back. I love belly rubs, playing with cat toys, lounging in my cat bed, cuddling and looking out the window too. I love to sleep in bed and sit with you on the couch. I am neutered, vetted and ready for adoption.

When I was rescued I had been hit by a car and could not walk on one of my front legs and my back legs were still very sore. I still walk gently on my front leg/paw but the veterinarians said I have recovered as much as I can (I need no further vetting for these old injuries). I am sensitive in those area (don't like to be petted too hard) because it was so painful when it happened, but I am no longer in pain. I walk, run and play just fine. I just prefer to be petted very gently so that I know I am safe (for this reason I do prefer a home without young children).

Did I mention I am SUPER SWEET? And my foster family calls me a cuddly teddy bear. I had a very tough life to start-- and I was rescued in a very tough downtown area. I have a lot of love to share and I hope you won't overlook me because I am an adult or because I walk a little funny on my front paw. I can't wait to meet you!
