KIKI is such a sweet and beautiful girl. She's loving and likes to be held and fussed, but right now she is timid due to being fostered with other cats inside and it's a bit intimidating for her. We think she would be happy as an indoor only, but she was living outside, so being an indoor/outdoor cat would be fine too.
Poor Kiki was left behind by her caregiver who moved. She had been born at the location and was fed and socialized by rental tenant, but was then just left behind :(  The tenant took the cat house we made for Kiki, but left three cats!

About For The Cats' Sake

About Our Rescue Group...

For The Cats' Sake was founded in 2014 in response to a need for TNR in Rappahannock County, Virginia. Since that time, we have encountered many situations where there is no place for the cats to be returned. In other instances the cats are friendly or there are momma cats too pregnant to be spayed, or young kittens that are adoptable, but need socialization and foster care. Currently we have about 40 cats and kittens in foster care being prepared for adoption. All felines are Up to Date on vaccinations and tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. Depending on age at time of adoption, they are also Spayed/Neutered.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our foster homes are in Flint Hill and Culpeper VA.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process begins with an application which includes vet references and landlord permission for renters. Potential adopters are encouraged to visit the cats/kittens in their foster homes so they see them in a comfortable situation. In many instances a volunteer will deliver the cat/kitten to their new home to assist the family in preparing their home getting the adoption off to a good start. There are no set fees, we request a donation.
