Majer Tom's Story...
How can such a beautiful cat be a stray scrounging for food at a cat colony in Berwick? The caretaker of the colony knew this tomcat was different. Majer Tom was elusive, not showing up every day. He was friendly but she said sometimes became moody if pet. She tried several times to get him to us with no avail. Finally she was successful and we were able to get help for Majer Tom. This exotic ,beautiful boy is under 2 years old with dreamy crystal blue eyes. He appears to be a lynx point siamese given his coloration and blue eyes. He has a friendly outgoing nature on top of that. He is not only striking in appearance, but he loves attention and being pet. Put him up on your lap and he’ll purr and stay there forever. He also has become one of our greeters in his area. Since Majer is a little sensitive near his tail when being pet, he probably would do better in a home with older children. Majer Tom is FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on shots, dewormed, litter trained and neutered. If you are interested in adopting Major Tom please contact Michelle at 570-759-0920.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Majer Tom, a Bloomsburg Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
