Facts about Mama Kitty

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Mama Kitty is just that....she was a Mama! After her kittens were born and adopted out, she is the last one left. She tends to be a stingy one and a little like Grumpy Cat but all in all, once she bonds with you, she is a lover. She does not prefer hyper dogs but is alright with older, calmer ones. She's also good with other cats that are calmer than your typical young kitten. As for kids, she's good with older kids as she doesn't like to be held a lot. It's on her terms basically and just gentle pettings is all this young lady wants. If interested in adopting this sweet older girl, please email the rescue and request an adoption application.

She is and will be current on all required vaccinations through to her age at time of adoption. If not already neutered prior to adoption, a Spay/Neuter contract will be required as an addendum to the Adoption Contract with a refundable $100 fee upon completion and submission of spay/neuter certificate to rescue. Adoption fee of $180 is non-refundable.

Come Meet Our Pets...

If you wish to meet one of our furry babies, please email us and request an appointment. Due to the animal's being in foster care, we need to accommodate the availability of the foster parents as well as potential furever parents.

When emailing or calling, please allow us 48-72 hours to respond during our open hours for us to respond back.

Our Adoption Process...

Our usual fee to adopt is $180. If the pet is not already spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to an approved adoption application, a $100 deposit is collected and a spay/neuter contract must be signed stating the animal being adopted will be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption and a copy of certificate from a licensed vet/clinic must be provided to the rescue within 14 days after surgery. If not complied with, the $100 deposit is forfeited and animal can be reclaimed and put back up for adoption. An adoption application must be completed and submitted prior to any adoptions. All applicants must submit and agree to a home visit from an officer of the rescue. Background checks are conducted to verify no criminal or civil charges are pending or posted against potential adopter in regards to animal welfare. Once references and checks come back satisfactory, adopter is contacted and time is arranged for any surgeries and/or adoption. An adoption contract is then signed and agreed upon by both the rescue representative and adopter. A copy of the contract along with original vetting records go to the adopter. Original contract and copy of vetting records stays with the rescue.
