Corby's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Corby's Story...
Now HERE’s a cutie! Corby is a 40 pound 2-year old Border Collie mix. This may explain why he is so smart, energetic, and pre-disposed to chase/herd things.

Corby has passed his Canine Good Citizenship test, so he knows all his basic commands like sit, down, stay, come when called, and he is kennel trained. He is not aggressive towards other dogs. Corby just wants to run around, play, and have fun.

He loves to play fetch and tug, and would be a great addition to an active family with older children who can redirect his bounciness.

Looking for a peppy running/agility/flyball partner? Please call the kennel at (503) 981-2570 to schedule a visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Corby, a Woodburn Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Woodburn, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Woodburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
