Danny's Story...
Danny is an extra-sweet kitten, about 4 months old, who craves attention and loves to give and receive lots of loving from his human friends. He loves to play and would be a great fit for a home with children for him to grow up with! He needs an indoor home to call his very own and a family to give him all the love and attention he can handle!

Danny is ready to transition to his new home -- neutered, current on vaccines and litter box trained. He gets along well with other cats and with the cat-friendly dogs in his Concord foster home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Danny, a Concord Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Concord, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Concord.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Concord already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Concord breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Concord paves the way for another one to be saved.
